We are a charity and Trustees' remit is to maintain and preserve the fabric of our church for future generations to enjoy. We are not a religious group but we work in cooperation with the PCC.

When the 'Friends' were established in 2001 the initial aim of the Trustees was to raise funds to deal with the damp. We also contributed to the refurbishment of the church organ and reglazing of the windows. Funds were subsequently raised for the installation of the heating system and we have paid for the re-plastering of the nave and chancel pillars. Since our inception in 2001, we have raised about £100,000; this is from contributions by the local community and fundraising events. The next aim of the Trustees is to raise funds to pay for the repainting of the interior of the church in the summer of 2020!

Forthcoming events:

ST MARYS EARL SOHAM FETE

The PCC has made the decision to cancel this years summer Fete - there really was no option. Hopefully, we will be able to make the Fete in 2021 doubly enjoyable.
